Elevating Training to Create Strong Cultures
Through the Equity Inquiry Project, Dr. Ford works with nonprofits, businesses, and education organizations to elevate, reframe and facilitate learning, improve dialogue, and encourage reflection on the part of leaders and their teams.

Equity Requires
Open Hearts & Commitment
An inclusive, equitable and just workspace builds strong organizational culture, achieves positive change, and creates effective communication. We must have our hearts open, giving each other grace is often needed for this work. As well, each of us, leaders and team members must be willing to stick with the work, as change often comes with challenges. Each of us has the capacity for the courage, compassion, humility, whatever is needed to
surmount challenges.
Our work together therefore builds on each team member’s knowledge and skills and uses
real-world situations to provide sustainable results for your organization. Authentic, thoughtful interactions foster creativity, and a sense of belonging for all team members providing an overall positive impact for the organization.

Creating organizations that are creative and successful requires more than making new hires.
We also need to create environment where all are supported and empowered, this means intentionally providing support for groups that are often left out. This often means making changes at all levels – the personal,
interpersonal, organizational, and cultural. This hard work can be hard but, work worthy of being done and it is not too hard for us.
Increase Capacity for Equity and Cross Cultural Engagement

The Equity Inquiry Project asks leaders and their teams to courageously and compassionately deepen their understanding of inequality and increase their equity capacity through a commitment to learn, voice, and practice.
START
with an open heart, and a committed, courageous mindset.
DEEPEN
one’s understanding of systemic inequality.
REFLECT
on one’s role and potential for positive impact.
LISTEN
to hear the issues and speak up to be heard.
ACT
to compassionately address inequality.

Dr. Ford works to build organizational culture and create positive change through effective communication. She strives to create a healthy environment for authentic engagement. "We have the capacity to build better
relationships across multiple cultures. It might take having tough conversations. But we can do it. We can listen to hear and make room for each other."
